Les Carter always writes books that are helpful, easy to read/understand and relationally strong...DO read this, apply the principles, and see the negative anger subside and replace with positive expressions of anger. Very helpful. I use it in my therapy practice all the time, with excellent results. But can be done alone.
Very easy to understand, as many psychologists can make feelings very complicated when discussing. He is clear, but I tired of all the couples examples evev though I am married...could have had more family dynamics or women anger issues.

Wow-Very pleased I purchased this book. Not only is it informative but gives examples of what to do in certain situations and explains the basis by which some emotions evolve. Things we should have been taught, or learned at an early age but just did not exist in the world we lived in are explained within these pages. I would suggest this book even if you don't feel you have an anger issue....I discovered that even feeling frustrated frequently or irritated by little things constantly, are forms of anger better handled in a different manner or perception. Wonderful book by a really good author.

It was very helpful in understanding why we feel anger and how it can be responded to in both good and bad ways. While reading this book I found myself contemplating the root causes of many struggles with finding balance in my life, and realizing that many were from anger either directly or indirectly.
